Realty Group, Inc. was
founded on January 13, 1977 and soon established
itself as a successful developer of commercial
real estate. From its inception through 1984,
Washington Realty
Group developed the better part
of one million square feet of commercial office
space in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
Since 1985, following its liquidation of its
holdings at the height of the market, Washington
Realty Group has
been exclusively a tenant/buyer representative
and consultant, taking full advantage of its
development experience of having successfully
participated in all aspects of commercial real
estate activities - acquisitions, pre-development,
site assemblage, development, sales, financing,
leasing, property management, construction, construction
management and architectural/space planning.
Washington
Realty Group has
assisted both smaller and larger clients with
transactions ranging from 2,000 square feet
to 300,000 square feet. Some of our satisfied

representative/advocate and, when necessary,

associations, and other premier tenants locally,
regionally, and nationally in these and other

lease and build-to-suit opportunities meeting
client
specifications.
- Negotiating
new leases, lease renewals, rental reductions,
lease
terminations, and client relocations.
- Negotiating
business relocation incentives and subsidies
from state,
county and local development offices.
- Coordinating
lease audits to verify the accuracy of pass-through
expense charges.
Eric C. Berson, the
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Washington
Realty Group, serves
on the ATR Board of Directors. Mr. Berson is a Phi Beta
Kappa and graduate of Stanford Law School, past President
of the Stanford Law School Student Body and past member
and Editor of the Stanford Law Review. He has also sat
on the Stanford Law School's Board of Visitors and has
been nominated to sit on the Stanford University Board
of Trustees. In addition, Mr. Berson has been a guest
lecturer at Wharton Graduate School of Business, University
