Co-founder of Commercial Real Estate Solutions LLC,
Carter provides leadership and supervision to the company’s brokers and
agents. A highly regarded and experienced broker, Carter owned one of the oldest
and most respected commercial real estate firms in Austin, representing tenants
and purchasers of office space for more than 20 years.
A recognized leader in the real estate community,
Carter has served President of the Austin Commercial
Real Estate Society (ACRES) as well as President of
the Commercial Leasing Brokers Association (CLBA).

the faculty of Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary
and as a licensed Real Estate broker.

John Hanly is responsible for the leadership and operations of the Office and
Industrial Services groups within the company. John’s 24 years of experience
structuring, negotiating and managing complex projects as well as his analytical
skills and strategic thinking are essential to the success of the company and
its clients. John has achieved outstanding results for such companies as Time
Warner, Broadwing Communications, Ambion, KPMG, Owens Corning, Janus, KLA Tencor,
Sheinfeld Maley & Kay, Retro Studios and Acclaim Entertainment.
John began his real estate
career with Cushman & Wakefield.
As Regional Manager, he oversaw business development,
strategic priorities, research, landlord brokerage,
transaction management, and design and consulting services
for Austin, San Antonio and El Paso. After 13 years
with Cushman & Wakefield he created his own firm,
Hanly Realty Advisors, which grew to be one of the
largest and most successful tenant representative firms
in the city. In 2002 he and Carter King co-founded Commercial
Real Estate Solutions, now the largest local
tenant representative firm in Austin.An active member
of the Austin community, John has served as president
of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA)
as well as chairman for the BOMA Southwest Regional
Convention. He works with the Austin Area Urban League
and has served on the board and executive committee
of the American Red Cross. He has received the Resource
Development Fundraiser of the Year Award and the Ira
W. Stormy & Bettye Davis Humanitarian Award, both
given by the American Red Cross. He and his wife Cindy
have one daughter. |
