MISSION CRITICAL – DALLAS FIRM
LAUNCHES “PROJECT
FLO”
June 2004, Dallas, TX – “Project Flo” was
launched with a call from Partners National Mission Critical
Facilities about a secret client looking to expand in the southeast.
The secret client was The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation,
a New York-based finance powerhouse. DTCC is the world’s
largest provider of technology infrastructure for financial transactions
spanning stocks, bonds, mutual fund shares and pensions. The
horrors of 9/11 wiped out communication links for many firms
in the world’s financial capital. This was a major factor
in DTCC’s decision to create a new operating center away
from the New York metropolitan region.
DTCC announced that it is setting up a major operation center
in Tampa, an area becoming known as the Wall Street of the South.
ETCC will bring 500 jobs to the area by the end of 2007, with
an average annual salary of about $72,000.
Partners National Mission Critical Facilities is pleased to
have represented DTCC in the acquisition of space in the Highwoods
Preserve, an office park in the New Tampa area developed by REIT
Highwoods Properties.
PNMCF is nationally recognized as the premier real estate brokerage
company assisting financial, insurance, telemarketing, and other
Fortune 1000 companies in researching and procuring mission critical
facilities for data centers, call centers, disaster recovery
centers, and operations centers.
